With Ralf Little having exited 'Death in Paradise', fans have immediately started to speculate on who could replace him as the lead in the series.

The producers of 'Death in Paradise' might have a surprise candidate for the role of the new Detective Inspector. According to a newspaper article, Honeysuckle Weeks is a firm favourite to become the lead detective on 'Death in Paradise'. She is now 4/1 to takeover the role.
The Telegraph calls her an 'inspired choice'. 'They could do far worse [than choosing Honeysuckle Weeks]', claims entertainment expert James Leyfield.
